Tunze osmolator help

so I just filled up my first tank, and installed the osmolator with the optical eye about a quarter inch (give or take) below the water level. When I plugged the ac adapter in the low light came on and it immediately started pumping fresh water into the tank. Can someone tell me what I did wrong?

it will do that when ever it is power up for the first time but stops and then it should work fine for you

and when the power is shut off it will do that but only then

Yes as said above thats what it does when you switch it on so it’s working fine
