I have a 100 gal rubbermaid stock tank sump and need an ATO. Does anyone know if the magnet for the Tunze Osmolator 3155 will hold? The decision is the between the osmolator and the new Apex ATK V2. I know the apex will hold but think I prefer the Tunze if I can make it work.

Thanks in advance

Cindy

Cindy,

The Tunze 3155 magnets are the strongest that I've ever used.

Need to be careful while handling those, but the 3155 is the best ATO that I ever used.

The specs say: Maximum 1/2" glass thickness.

Thanks GoVols! I know the magnet on my little Tunze skimmer (for my nano tank) is a beast, so I figured their other magnets would be as well.

Tunze for the win :)

I can't see it being a problem. I use a smart micro ato on my 150g rubbermaid sump (with an avast pump) and it holds well.
