Tunze osmolator magnet questions

Hello,
I got a used osmolator skimmer.
Pls see pics...one of the inside magnets lost its sealing and rusting a bit in sw.

It snaps into the body, how can I make magnet water proof? Without covering the holes for snapping into place?

Pls advice, should I coat with regular 5 min epoxy from HD?

silicone the magnets carefully. From Tunze the replacement is about $20 I believe, check the Tunze usa site.

Personally, I'd throw it away and buy something more reliable.
