Hi
Anyone have experience with this RO controller? I know Tunze makes quality so interested in any feedback. I have one from another brand has been working great till now 8 months later it stopped. Im assuming its just the bottom float since its submerged all the time. My thing is if i pay $200 fir controller are the float switches going to be the only problem again. Then id rather stick to what i got and upgrade floats? Anyone recccomend better float switches!!
Thx
Brani

The Tunze relies on the electronic eye as the primary. the float switches are used as a fallback so need little maintenance as they rarely come in contact with water. I had one for eight years on my last tank. The $20 pump is the only issue that I ever had but I always kept a brand new spare on hand just in case.

Hi- im not talking about the osmolator. I got that one. This is something different. Look closer at the picture. This is for automatically filling a RO container for example. It connects to RODI unit with a solenoid and the floats are for triggering solenoid on when bottom float is activated because reservoir is empty than when it hits the top float the high point it shuts off solenoid so RODI stops making water.

You can do that very easily with a simple float switch on your RO-DI reservoir. Or are you planning to have this directly fill your ATO reservoir?

I already have a setup installed from autotopoff. I have solenoid connected to rodi and a latching relay connected to two floats high and low. It automatically fills my 6 gallon container with RODI water. Thing is it just stopped working. It doesnt trigger to fill anymore. Im assuming its my low float. Im just asking if i should dump my whole system and go with the Tunze system. This is part of equipment that needs to be very reliable. I have this one for 8 months and its not working. Im not sure yet if its float or controller.

And if its just float than is there any better float switch that can be submerged nonstop and last more than 8 months. I dont want to. Uy tunze than have same problem with bottom float that is sleays submerged go bad on me every 8 months

I get it. I don't really know how reliable floats are that spend their entire time under water. Maybe use 2? People seem to like these cheap-o uxell float switches that you can get on Amazon that work either normally open or closed depending on the orientation.
