Tunze skimmer overflow

i just added fish and a new rock last night my skimmer was workin fine untill now its overflowing every like 15 minutes and its clear water usually it would take like 3 days to fill and its would be blackish green water any help ?

What kind of rock and did you dose anything recently?

Do you have a sump?
If you don’t and the skimmer is in your display, you probably raised the water level when you added the rock

That's good I didn't even think of that .if he didn't take out the water that that rock is going to take up that would causes level to be too high in the skimmer could overflow

When you add things (in this case rock), water displacement causes the water to rise. Just back off on the skimmer a bit until it functions like your accustomed to seeing.

Can you turn down the skimmer slighting or adjust it based on water level that would be what’s causing it.
