Hey guys I have a quick question can any one help me identify what is growing on my turbo snail. It kinda looks like a spider egg sack. I know that's not possible lol but just to reference what it feels like. It's on the bottom right of his shell.

The red stuff looks like cyanobacteria.

That's a turbo snail?

If your referring to that small greyish white ball on the right then it's probably a sponge of some sort.

Yea I'm currently battling cyno outbreak lol and yea that's a Mexican turbo. Oh ok is that bad? I tried to remove it about a week and a half ago and it grew back.

If that really is a sponge growing on the snail, it's kind of funny lol. No harm will come of it.

Yea I don't know where it would have come from lol I haven't added anything new in several months lol.

Sppnges usually grow with high nutrients. Your cyano bloom says you have elevated po4. Thats most likely why.

Alright good to know thanks. I will work on the PO4
