Turbo snail squirting white stuff

I have a turbo snail in my tank. I was having a look over the tank this morning and thought I saw what looked like smoke coming out of the snail.

I immediately thought it was dissolving and contaminating my tank. I’ve never moved so fast to get something out my tank!!

I put it in a QT jar whilst I looked up this phenomenon.
Turns out he was just “enjoying” his Saturday morning like the best of us hahaha

He’s back in the tank and free to enjoy himself whenever he wants.

needless to say I feel a little wheezy having grabbed the snail during the act!!

Your likely seeing little cloudy rings in which it’s broadcasting its spawn.
Water may get temporarily cloudy but will clear up
