Mine also does nothing at day, as they are nocturnal. Does it still get up at night or does he not even do that? This is about 3 days in a row my troubles now has been laying on its side. At night its on the go with no problemMine also does nothing at day, as they are nocturnal. Does it still get up at night or does he not even do that?
Though it just laying around at day could be concerning, if it’s active at night, that’s what matters. I thought mine was dead the day I bought it until he started going about at night. As tankstudy said, you can check your calcium and magnesium levels, but if those are fine, along with your ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates, your snail is probably okay and just has a really weird place to sleep. At night its on the go with no problem
Yeah that’s definitely strange....My Turbos don't seem to be on a 24 hour schedule like we are, but I've never seen any of my Turbos do that...
Mine go for a few days and then will sleep for a day, go a few days, then sleep a day, go a few days, etc...
but when my turbos sleep, they always go into a cave or dark spot and lay motionless for a day. They generally don't hang out of their shell like that either...
