Mine also does nothing at day, as they are nocturnal. Does it still get up at night or does he not even do that?

At night its on the go with no problem
Though it just laying around at day could be concerning, if it’s active at night, that’s what matters. I thought mine was dead the day I bought it until he started going about at night. As tankstudy said, you can check your calcium and magnesium levels, but if those are fine, along with your ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates, your snail is probably okay and just has a really weird place to sleep.

My Turbos don't seem to be on a 24 hour schedule like we are, but I've never seen any of my Turbos do that...

Mine go for a few days and then will sleep for a day, go a few days, then sleep a day, go a few days, etc...
but when my turbos sleep, they always go into a cave or dark spot and lay motionless for a day. They generally don't hang out of their shell like that either...

Yeah that’s definitely strange....

I have a turbo snail that lays like that during the day too. Then come evening it wakes up and moves. I’m surprised my crabs leave it alone from wanting his shell!
