Can anyone please identify something on a Turbo Snail I got last week. This seems to be growing. I pulled it from my DT and it is QT now.

Here are some additional pictures that may help.

Interesting, I inspected them when I got them. Used a Tooth brush and a pick on them and this has gotten this big in I guess a little over a week. I haven’t tried to remove it yet. Should I try or not?

If I'm right then it's totally harmless. Let a few others chime in on identification though.

I just popped most of it off with my thumb nail. It’s hard and brittle. Just wanting to figure out what it is because it’s been in the display for a little over a week.

Thank you for your response. That could very well be it. I will look at it again tonight. Is it anything I need to worry about it being in my DT for awhile?

I've found small bivalve hitchhikers quite often on snails. This guy had all sorts of filter feeders along for the ride, with hitchhikers on his hitchhikers (you can see the edge of the bivalve under the layer of barnacles). I always leave them be.
