So, I just picked up 3 turbo nails from my LFS and acclimated them for 1hr 30mins or so. I just added them into the tank, how long will it be until i start seeing movement?

I have found some turbos to be more active than others, but as for a time line, theres every chance it could be a while [emoji14]

Anywhere from right now, to a day or two. If some are still stationary come tomorrrow morning, pick them up and take a whiff. If any make you wanna puke after sampling their smell, throw it away. :D

I've heard of the snail smell of death.... that is the last thing on my bucket list lol

It's even worse than they say. Back when I was just a pup I worked for a LFS, and I dreaded the "snail bags" because we would have to go through them looking for obvious dead ones. Just writing this brings back memories that make me wanna hurl. :p

I have a few turbos and they don't move until the lights turn off. Each morning they are back in the same exact spot as the day before. I wouldn't know they moved unless I come and look at the tank when the lights are off.

Ugh! I'm surprised your nose didn't fall off

I bought 2 a couple weeks ago mine didn't move for a few hours but now they move all the time. But do have moments where they won't move for a day or even 2

Yep... I let it go too long, started looking really bad, went to pull it out, and as it cleared the water it just exploded into slime with a stench that.... indescribable is about the only word...
I took the safe road and vacced mine out that I bought for cheap to save [emoji14] (sorry for lè jacking!) I have learnt if something is dead or on the way out to avoid moving it too much [emoji14]
