Turbot Snail Destroying Rock??

Do I need Turbot snails in my CUC?? 20G tank and the Turbot snails (there are 2) seem to be destroying the rock or at least “grinding” the paint off. Have 2 red leg hermits, 7 nassaarius, 3 astria & tiger conch. Tank is 2 months old. 8.2pH 8.4dKh 480 calc 78degrees 10ppm Nitrate.

Also, I assume the paint you're referring to is just coralline. Whether it's coralline or coralline colored paint, it's fine. As the tank matures they're not going to stand a chance at keeping up with it.
