Taking over my 30gallon, it's so ugly. was wondering if anyone has had luck using chitons or rock boring urchins to help get rid of it. Going to try to starve it out but hear it still grows in low nutrient water. Going to start using DI water and bought a phosphate reactor. I want this stuff gone asap. Any tips or advice is welcomed. Thanks

If you want to use peroxide to beat it, i have in about 550 documented online cases. post full tank shot we can describe an easy fix

Welp, gotta have very low Nitrates, and Phospahtes at or below .05
Then you can do a lights out for 3 total days, that outta get you started.

I had a similar issue. I tried to starve, lower light, add more to my clean up, manual remove, and peroxide dips. None of them seem to help. As a last straw I tried api marin algaefix. After 3 doses I had very little left.

thanks for the info guys. Well have to research the algaefix and peroxide dip more

there are specific ways to apply it so the p w work

need before pics to see if you can
