I don't know what it is, I've treated with vibrant brute it knocked all my algae down but I really don't want to use it. This type and ulva keep coming back. What have I got here? How should I deal with it?

Bryopsis.
Reduce white light intensity and my best success was liquid vibrant dosed at 80% of recommended dosage

Vibrant works for sure, but it also kills my dragons breathe macro which is why I prefer not to use it.

Do you run macroalgae?

(oh wait you said dragon's breathe)

Fluconazole can work really well, the thing is that it's a fungicide, so there can be secondary effects after treating like cyano or dinos that take place in the absence of the algae + fungi. Manual removal is the best option IMO, then follow with chemical.

remove macroalgae and chaeto Before treatment

I’d try some emeralds first before you nuke the tank with fluconzanole. My byropsis came back even after using it twice. And no, my nitrates and phosphates are under control.

It's a large system with 3 tracks that share a common sump which is also like another tank. Honestly the emeralds might be hard to do, but maybe, I am only seeing the algae in sump and 1 other tank.

They’re easy to catch if it doesn’t work out. They are machines and mowed that stuff down for me.
