turn off email notifications for every reply to thread

I turned off email notifications during the WWC live sale because I was getting notified of a new reply right after leaving the thread. Somehow after turning it back on I now get an email for every single reply to a thread. I may have 10 emails in a row telling me someone has replied to a thread. How can I get it back to only having one email until I visit the tread again?

Every single message? That's odd. Maybe try turning off emails and back on again. You can do that by clicking your name in the top right and then "Alert Preferences"

I still get this all the time just created a rule in my mail program to send them all to trash so I never see them.

Yep. Every one. I turned notifications off and back on and will see if that worked. I thought maybe there was an option to receive emails for every reply but couldn’t find anything.

Mine never did it until I turned notifications off and back on.
