Hello,

I have been running my 75 gallon reef tank with 2 clowns and 2 cardinal fish for almost 2 months. I’ve had the lights off since then.

I am going to slowly start turning the lights on. Any advice on how I should start turning the lights on? Ie. low intensity? Low on time?

Any advice is appreciated!

Correct low intensity and start with maybe 4-5 hours a day or less. I assume this is a newly cycled tank?
Yes, newly cycled. That sounds good I’ll start with low intensity and time.

Any recommendations for how much white light and blues to use?

what light are you using? i would say maybe 20%-30% blue and 6%-8% white. Or a combination that you like color wise. I persoanlly like the 12-14K look during the day but at night it goes to 20K or there abouts.

I’m running 2 of these with a controller about 11in from the water line.
