I have a lot of zoas that all look amazing! But lately I have been having a few turn inside out or what I call turniping. Attached is a picture of a sunny D doing it. What causes this when all my water parameters are good.

Thanks in advance!

I had zoas do this when they did not get enough light. I slower introduced them to stronger light and found a spot where they returned to normal.

That's the thing, they have been in this spot for over 8 months under LEDs. I just moved them to a even more intense spot. So we will see.

Thank u both for the comments.

Im aure theyll go back to normal. Ive personally never had any zoas do this to me but ive seen it. The ones i saw were in little to no flow. Idk if flow would have anything to do with it but could be a possibility. Just wait it out. Im sure they will go back to normal

You can also tell they need more light by the length of their polyps in this case.
