I currently have an IM 20 with about 12-15 gallons of water in the tank. When I first set up my tank I calculated the turnover rate for 20 gallons of actual water not realizing I would have much less when adding sand and rock. I currently have two power heads one 425 gph and 240 gph alternating on and off. The return pump is a sicce 254 gph but I have it set a bit lower than the max output. So approximately I have 494 gph and 679 gph alternating in a 12-15 gallon tank. My tank is mainly lps and some softies. Is this too much flow

How do the corals look? They say 10X water volume but every tank varies. I would suggest watching the tank to see how corals and fish are doing and increase/decrease on how the livestock are doing.

Fish look well. My torches I feel like have too much flow because they are not really swaying instead they are retracted a bit. I thought maybe it was just because I placed them in the center in my tank
