Came close, twice... well, lol... first one was kinda never going to happen anyway. Really weird situation that needs a bon fire and beer to explain. The second time, well... yea, bon fire and rum. Lots of rum. Building Deep Blue, and the guys and gals that have been on this thread since the beginning kept me sane.

My back is good and my core is solid, round... but solid. We Haseldens are short, broad and stocky

It's that dang left knee that got twisted when I laid my first bike down in a patch of sand. Been tweaked for 8 years now. Its better than it was, but the cold, up and down ladders and going down stairs give me a fit sometimes. I just push thru it. I'll probably need meniscus surgery when I'm around 50... maybe sooner, but it hasn't gotten any worse in 8 years.
