Somebody moved tanks today. Bonnie all but jumped in the net, Clyde I had to chase for about 20 minutes. They are back to acting like normal clowns, exploring their new home.

And somebody doesn't quite know what to think of their new tank mate. He ducks in that cave behind him, comes out and flashes, then ducks back in the cave. No aggression from anyone.

Nice! I like the frags too bud, nice score with that stag! I have a green one with blue tips and it grows like a weed!

In the shop he picked that one up and asked if I wanted any blue stag. He had several frags that size. I looked at it and it was green, dark green not slimmer green. Figured it needed to color up... yea, it was the Ecotech lights. Idk what spectrum they use but I got it home and in my tank and I was shocked at the color. Its bluuuuueeee! That sushi acro was almost yellow there and it's more neon green under my light. He's got a ice blue colored tenuis I want to go back for...

Pretty colors for today... nitrites are down to 1.0ppm. Ammonia is staying at 0ppm.

Quick update from work. This was the status of the tank before I left for work today. We are in full diatoms bloom. I lost a few astrea snails going from the 75 to the mini refugium to the 35... but I still have some, and the hermits, nassarius and most of the cerith snails are doing fine. We need to add to the CUC soon. I'm checking on some special inverts, might have something really cool this week in addition to the rest of the really cool stuff. Water is also a little cloudy so I'm thinking the bacteria have finally taken off. The Eshopps refugium light is growing a nice film of green algae on the acrylic. Not much algae on the tank glass at all and we're running the Kessils at 100% for most of the 12 hour light cycle. Skimmer is, well its still going crazy. I moved the bubble plate into the correct position. I noticed it was turned around backwards. I bumped the water level up some to try and get more water up into the body to maybe break it in faster, and also to try and keep so many of the micro bubbles out of the water. No pretty colors for today. We'll test those later this week.

If I were a curious man. I'd look for odd and interesting sponges for the diatom tank.

We haven't rulled out a sponge... maybe one of those plating sponges on the far left over by the halimeda and the mermaids tail macros.

As an experiment , anything that catches your eye. All of them are silicate , bacteria and ammonia sponges.
Lol. Get it. Sponges.

Beats diatoms and my jokes anyway.

Thanks for the cliffhanger now I'm sitting on the edge of the couch again;Nailbiting
