We glued our duncans down... these guys haven't had great color for a while now, but they have awesome PE. Probably because they've switched tanks or gone thru a complete rehaul of a tank about 6 times since last summer. Still, thru all that they continue to put out new heads every few weeks.

These are about the only wavy flowy LPS I like. (Thats not even half PE, they are still upset from moving from the frag rack.)(Also super blue, lights are ramping down for the night. 30 minutes to bed time for the reef.)

I did some reading and apparently it's common to turn red or purple. Some have indicated it will stay orange in low light?

Hmm, I'm not exactly low light... but I'm not blasting the tank either. 200 par in the spot its at on 100%, but I'm only running 60% right now at peak. I think I have a 6 hour peak with 3 hour ramps up and down... sounds right.

I know I'm a girl, but Tombstone is one of my favorites too. I agree Doc has some of the best lines in movie history.

It looks great, but it's still a coral killer. All my tests come back normal, polyfilter AND cuprisorb in the tank in case there are any metals. I just don't get it and I've come to realize that I may never get nice corals to grow well in this tank.

I've seen asterinas munching down on Coraline algea, and the spot turn pink. Maybe yours turns orange. Is the spot about the same size as an asterinas?
