Turtle's Deep Blue Sea

Hey Turtle, what keeps moving the shell on the left? Is that a conch?

That is no conch, that is an automatic coral ungluer... yes, its a Florida fighting conch. I got him from... crap, too much rum. I'll get back to you on that.

Its how I keep a 3" black sand bed, black... he's all over the sand cleaning 24/7 and even burrows like a nassarius. There are a few small Nassarius vibex in there too but I rarely see them.

Man, a Herman Melville reference. You got to name it Ahab now.

Just reminded me of a concert piece I played in highschool symphonic band. Yes, i was a band nerd. I played alto saxophone in marching band and baritone in symphonic.

Anyway the piece is called "Of Sailors and Whales" and is a grade six masterwork piece.(the hardest there is) It was my favorite year playing. I had a duet with the first chair alto sax in there somewhere. It was short but still, a duet. Also, part 5 "The White Whale" is sooo much fun on baritone saxophone. I played with the tubas and trombones and baritones blasting the low notes. That was my junior year, unfortunately I missed my senior year for a vocational networking class that I eventually dropped for lack of interest. I'm more of a outside in a shop or plant getting greasy, turning wrenches and smacking things with hammers kinda guy.

Here's the USAF band playing it...

So um, I'm not sure how long they've been available... but we checked the ATI website and we have ICP results. Nickel and Vanadium are still high. Everything else looks pretty good, I think. Hopefully moving that Kessil mount and switching to the Icecap will solve my issues. gonna make up some fresh salt water tomorrow for a large-ish water change.

Anything in the RO/DI test of note, if you had access to it.

After seeing that test I really like that IceCap

I was in The Air Force and had friends in the base band.

Didn’t golf but professional chair tester:p:D
My wife does call it the Chair Force, but she can call it whatever she wants. She's a Marine.

My son may be joining the Air Force this summer.... he goes back and forth.
