Running tap water test...

Tank, sump, plumbing and return only. Gonna run like this for about an hour and make sure everything is good. Theres one spot I'm watching, but I think its from where my water hose picked up and tried to spray all over the floor.

Yep, thats water between the tank and the mat. Pretty sure it's from where we sprayed water everywhere, and not a seam. All the silicone looks great.

So, almost an hour later and we don't have any more water under the glass. I'm positive that was from water that sprayed out of the tank.

We interupt this tank build for dinner... kinda proud of myself for actually cooking real food. Bachelor life killing me. Y'all hurry up and bring a steak, coals are still hot.

Alright guys... tell me what to do. I'm scared of this rimless tank.

Tank is level, but the right front corner isnt touching the mat...

Is the tank still full? Looks like the stand isn't flat...

Did they give you a foam pad to put under it? It looks like there are small gaps between tank and stand.

Tank is right here... stopped filling after seeing the gap.

Yes, there is a foam mat under the tank. That is where the gap is. The tank isn't touching the mat on the right front corner.

Are you going to put shims under the gap? Sorry to hear about this

I don't think shims under the tank is a good idea. I may have found part of the problem with the gap. The outside edge of the mat was compressed when it was sitting on top of the tank. That is giving me a gap around the tank. What my issue right now is, why is that gap more noticeable on the right side than the left side?

Do you have a thin piece of styrofoam? Might be able to fix it.

All I have is 1/2" styrofoam that was on the sides of the tank in the box. Can't lift it by myself anyway. I'm REALLY starting to regret this SCA tank. Cheap pile of bull manure.

I guess anything is possible. Not sure how I'd check that.

Not sure either short of flipping it and checking with a level. The stand top looks even at least from the pictures. I've never seen a foam mat that's done that regardless of how much it's been compressed.

Tank doesn't rock even the slightest bit, does it?
