I have an African long neck turtle. I know this isn’t reef tank related but if anybody here also has an aquatic turtle I’d love to see your tank setup. I feel I could do better for that little guy. Thanks in advance!!!

Here is simple setup. Stack rocks so water is halfway up tank allow power filter to pull and return water
You can substitute with a box filter using carbon and floss

Thank you! He’s in a 55 gallon tank and it seems big enough. Right now I’ve just got rocks on one side. Lucky I did go to a construction materials wholesaler and got tons of flat rocks to stack like that. I’ll put some on each side so he has a bit more places to climb. I’ve got a small canister filter and I put the return on the opppsite side of the part that sucks in water hoping to get more circulation that way. It seems okay. Thanks for the drawing!!

Here is my setup for a loggerhead musk. He is almost fully aquatic so he only needs a small basking area. I built a removable overflow of sorts for plumbing and the heater, which includes a cave at the bottom where he sleeps.
