I am all ears folks .... I received a beautiful harlequin tusk last Tuesday. My concern is I still have not witnessed the fish eat. He is in QT now. I have tried Rod's Predator Blend, silversides, ghost shrimp, new life spectrum pellets, and a table shrimp soaked in garlic. Also I have thrown a couple hermits in the tank in case they would tempt him.

It has been six days now. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions???

Did it show any interest at all in the live ghost shrimp?

Does it seem interested in the other food, just not sure what it is? Or no interest at all?

He has not shown interest in any of it. Currently I left a table shrimp in there and will check back in a couple hours. Hoping he just won't eat in front of me.

I'm surprised the ghost shrimp didn't elicit a response, they are usually irresistible to labrids. Perhaps clams, scallops, or oysters on the half shell.

Clams or krill. Mine loved frozen krill

First of all is it an Aussie or it a phillippine tusk .. The phillippine tusks tend to not wanna eat as readily as Aussies .. So you need to figure which one .. If I guessed I say you have a phillippine tusk .. Cause Aussie are ready to eat out the bag !!
