I got him a day and a half ago I think he may moved up on my tank one night. It looked like a line where algae was. Most of the time it is hiding behind the tank. Is this common? I see it in the same spot all the time. I have yet to see it move but I am not sure if I saw proof of it moving which was the line on the back wall.

Here is the line i know he may hard to see but it was not there before and it only did this once. I think it ate that.

I'm looking at adding one to my aquriam.
I have read that they eat alot and pooh even more, they are nocturnal so will only graze at night, if you only introduced a day or two ago you are unfamiliar with feeding habits but if there's a 'line' in your algae then this means it's at work eating away, I'm sure it's nothing to worry about.

I read you can feed a 'slice of carrot '
(Weird to me)
Give it a few more days to settle and I'm sure it will happily graze when your asleep :) :)

I can barley see it as is it is behind this giant rock. I can see it has spikes but I cannot see all of it. Should I move it then?

I have two tuxedo urchins in my tank. I very rarely see them move or come out of hiding when the lights are on.

They are nocturnal, after about 30 min or so after the lights are off, I will see them in various parts of the tank grazing on algae.

Also, It's only been 1.5 days, give it a few more days to adjust.
