Tuxedo urchin

I have this absolutely amazing tuxedo urchin, he does a great job, day in and day out...but dang he picks up EVERYTHING lol although sometimes it looks neat.
But right now he has a giant Afro of GHA and I'm not sure how I should, if I should try and remove it?

I would just gently pull it off, it will probably let go. or you could trim it like a haircut lol

Just pull it off as gently as you can, I have many urchins and do it all the time. Just need to avoid snapping tube feet as much as you can.

My tuxedo carries frags quite often, it is quite easily to pull it off. If the rest of your tank doesn't have GHA much, I would turn off the flow before pulling GHA off it, to make sure what you pull off doesn't spread to the rocks.
