Feeling a bit duped duped after a recent trip to Living Reef in the Orlando area. We talked extensively with the manager and another worker trying to decide between two fish. They knew we had a 62 gallon and we had repeatedly said oh this fish or that fish would get too big and yet they sold us on buying a Twin Spot Coris over the Yellow Coris we came in to get. On the way home I Googled it & realized how dumb we were for not Googling in the store as they get anywhere from 2 to 4 ft long. My question is how quickly does this fish grow? Do we have anything to worry about in the near future? It's just a little over an inch long now.

They grow pretty fast, but it'll be okay for a year, maybe two, before it outgrows your tank. They have big appetites and will consume your clean up crew as it grows. If you have a reef tank you may want to remove it sooner rather than later as these guys can be pretty destructive, even small ones can flip small rocks and rip corals off the rockwork.

Thanks for the reply. I've just left it in the QT tank so I don't have to catch it out of my display. I'm thinking of selling it if anyone's interested.
