I’ve never seen this before. Is this normal? Do I need to do something, or can I leave it?

Very much disagree, it likely did it to itself and can easily untwist itself by inflating or releasing from the rock. The tissue looks perfectly healthy, I don't think this is a dire situation. If OP wants to untwist it then thats there prerogative and likely won't hurt to untwist it, but I don't think its "prob going to die" if they don't untwist it.id definitely help it untwist or its prob going to die
With the caveat that this is not due to flow. If the flow caused the nem to twist like this then I would try to untwist it and probably adjust the flow so it doesn't happen again. If you decide to untwist it, it will likely just retract and end up untwisting itself.I don't think its "prob going to die" if they don't untwist it.
Do I need to adjust the light on that side of the tank? That anemone has been on that rock for the entirety of the tank and flow hasn’t changed since the initial setup.Agree with above, don't touch it. They can deflate any time they feel like it. It's stretching for light and just happened to twist up. Not an issue.
I have seen the tentacles twist before but never seen them twist their stalk. How is the flow? Is it in gyre motion causing it to twist like that? I don't think you need to do anything about it, it should be able to untwist itself. The pairing of clownfish and anemones is almost ironic, I feel like they are more similar than they are different. You could almost explain everything they do as just because "they are weird and do weird things
That particular anemone has been on that rock for the entirety of the tank and flow hasn’t changed since the initial setup. Just recently started stretching out. Makes me a bit nervous as it’s stretching towards a power head. Have a cover in order, but…supply chain.
