So I am new here but not to the hobby. I have had many tanks ranging from 55 to 150. I got off of the hobby for about 6 years and finally decided to come back. This time around I am starting a tank way smaller then any I have ever had. It's a 29 gallon soon to be mixed reef with 10 gallon sump. I will be adding a reef octopus BH-50 soon. It has a marine depot overflow with stockman standpipe and a eheim 1260 return. No lights as of now but am looking at the cheap black boxes. I just aquascaped and started the cycle on 3/2.

Very cool! From the front you don’t see any depth and it just looks straight up and down. I was pretty sure it wasn’t that way but that side view tells the rest of the story.

Looks like plenty of surfaces for mounting corals. It’ll look good all grown in.

Looks like a good start! Welcome to R2R!
