Two 150gpd ro membranes

If you put in a tighter flow restrictor, you will have higher gauge pressure and MORE water production. Not as much as if you installed a second membrane.

I'd avoid adding a second membrane in series unless you use a flow restrictor that yields something around a 4:1 ratio (unless you have soft water).

I have soft water I do appreciate the info!!!!

See my earlier post re running a properly configured 300 gpd system through a 10" x 2.5" carbon block.

Will re read again. Is that for a true 300gpd system or a cobbled piggyback system, or am I being stupid and it’s the same. The reason I am asking what in the pressure be different for a 300 membrane versus a 150 membrane? Not a mathematical wiz Just in my mind you would need the same amount of pressure to run through two 150s with a 150 restrictor and 300 gallons per day would have a different restrictor allowing more water to go through I may be wrong I don’t deal in the systems like you do.
