I use a Seneye reef device in my sump to measure temp etc. In the last few days my PH has dropped from 8.2 to 7.9 on the device. Not too sure on why the drop, nothing else changed, temp 25c, SG 1.026, ammonia 0.001.
So being inquisitive I reverted back to double check using my Red Sea PH test kit, drop of this, shake of that. PH comes back at 8.2.
Who do I believe, the Seneye chip has 20 days left and was fine until now?
Any thoughts on this please?
Thanks
Paul

I am fine with that though lol I wouldn't worry much about chasing a PH number ,, everything I have read says doing this will drive you up a wall ,, keep your Alk & Calcium stable ,, test your Nitrates & Phosphates ,, keep those under control ,,, be happy and enjoy your tank
