Background:
I have been out of the hobby for just over five years and wow have things changed. I been trying to catch up on all the technology out there but still keep this new build simple. My last tank was a 150 gallon mixed reef with 3 250W Metal Halides. A 200 gallon basement sump that I had set up for about 8 years and had to move so sold everything. I been thinking about getting back in the hobby for the last few years but really wanted to get a “show tank”. I came across Innovative Marine and was thinking about going with the 25 gallon lagoon. Why doing research on there tanks I came across there concept tanks and fell in love with the drop off style tank. I started this tank about 5 months ago and kept a build thread on nano-reef. I have got a ton of good info from R2R and wanted to show everyone that has helped what I have able to come up with.

I am new to the all in one tanks so looking for any advice what to add to my media baskets. Looking to keep a low bio load mixed reef so no skimmer for now.
Update:
Back in October my cycle ended. I added my first fish a nenon dottyback. I know I know there are a lot of dottyback haters out there but with a small tank and not a lot of livestock I wanted a lot of color. I also added 4 hermits and some snails and a single head of hammer. After a few weeks with everything happy I added 2 clowns time to start adding more coral. I changed my light to a kessil 160W and added a Fuge. The Sicce 1.5 did not end up fitting so I am going with the mightyjet pump.
November and December were crazy with the holidays. I have added a lot of coral and a clam. Got a RBTA and it is been doing great and spit already. Of course my clowns want nonthig to do with it. Battled a bit of a GHA outbreak but as of now have it under control. Around this time I answered an add for coral for sale on Facebook. I went and met Nick and bought some of his LPS and a great friendship started. He was shutting down a nano and upgrading and was changing the direction he was going. He ended up giving me some very nice frags! I will start with some older pics up till I took some yesterday.
So in my topic I did say 2 drop off tanks! Not long after getting my panorama I really wanted the look of the peninsula. I was not able to find a stand that would work so I had to get one custom built. Also with this tank I really wanted something totally different then the other more “natural” looking tank. With help from a friend and a fellow reefer I was turned onto the bonsai look. I contacted Paul at West Mariculture and he came up with a custom design for me. I cycled the tank with some other rock I had but just last week my bonsai showed up so I was able to start adding coral.

Paul at West Mariculture did a great job!
My plan right now is to have each plate have its own type of coral. Like one will be all different torch another will be all different frogspawn.
