Two failed heaters at same time

Has anyone have two heaters fail at the same time for the same reason?

I had two Eheim jager 300 watt heaters just go bad. Both have the light on indicating they are on but they don't get hot. They were both plugged into an Inkbird controler which then plugged into the neptune power strip. My Apex was showing no power draw from them, so I plugged them into a different circuit with out the Inkbird and apex, they still never got warm.

I am glad I have an extra 500 watt heater for an emergency like this.

never heard of this happening but if you got them both at the same time from the same place they could have come off the assembly line at the same time, which could make it more likely they would fail at or neere the same time.

Never heard of them failing at the same time. Unlikely but certainly possible. More likely one failed awhile ago and you never noticed until the second one failed?

I was kind of thinking the same thing that I didn't notice the first fail. Who knows though...

I use different brands myself - Eheim primary and Aquael secondary. Partially for cost (cheaper secondary) but I guess it also helps for your issue.
