Two hitchhikers need id

So we received an order and my son found these two items hiding

The starfish we beleive is good. The other ? A baby feather duster?

First pic is a “micro” brittle star; great hitchhiker. Second is a tiny feather duster. Feather dusters are harmless filter feeders.

In a small shipment l got last week I recieved mant serpent stars , a minimum of 5 time pistol shrimp. One large mantis. 3 snails some crabs bad and good. Countless worms. Spaghetti worms. More stuff will emerge as the new tank matures. Don't kill the hitchhikers. They'll become a great part of you're system.

KPaquatics. Very nice rock shipped in water. The stuff I mention I found when I poured the shipping water thru a net. Lol. There's more to come.. I highly recommend them. I've bought rocks and animals and I'm always pleasantly surprised.

You'll like kp. I've. Just found 2 thing this week from 2 year old kp rock. A tiny white crab with very long claws. The other is a bright red polyp/nem creature. I need help with the polyp thing. The pic is with blues. He's fire engine red.

That’s who I used too. Great stuff. I did find a few small Eunice worms though, so keep a close eye out.

I have white ones that they don't mind. The pretty black tiny fan worms make mine mad. Super glue. Lol

I started my most recent nano tank (12 gallon) with dry rock, and we are about 7 months in and BOY HOWDY, I've never had so much trouble with a tank before. Dinos completely took over for 3 months, had to rip clean it, couldn't get nutrients to balance....I think I'm outta the woods now, but good god. All to avoid a few "bad" hitchhikers. Never again!!!! You can't beat mother nature, don't even try!!!!
