Hi guys,
New to this forum. Have been reefing for about a year.
Im after an idea what these two different things are.
First one is an accro I believe it is that I bought just a day ago. Its started to colour up on the tips already, going a nice lime green. But as I was watching it, two little tentacle like things came out the end.... what caught my eye was that they were moving together and not with the flow of the water. They are stiff and dont bend in the current. When I approach them with tweezers they go back into the top of the coral. This happens on two of the branches. Any ideas if this is a peat that has housed itself actually inside the coral. I didnt dip it as it came with a cral crab hosting it and didnt want to kill the crab... (it was cute just sitting in its space) I know this was
probably a bad idea... I always dip.
The second pic is something I spotted on the bottom of my leather coral. It doesn't move. Been there a while. I did remove it about two months ago. But looking tonight its come back. It's quite green in the middle. The pic doesn't pick it up. It comes off in one. Again any ideas?
