I am going to start up a calcium reactor. I am looking to get the two little fishies reborn per brs investigates . The large size coral is about $8 more vers the litte. My question is which one is better and why? I was worried about the little because of detritus built up. what are you guy thoughts?

You should locate the reactor intake after your filters.
Try to keep the reactor out of the reef lights, so it does not grow alage.
I buy this in the 44lb box

I use the larger size in the main chamber to reduce the chance of clogging. I do have the small size in the 2nd chamber. The input is pulled through a foam filter pad to try to keep detritus out. The flow is so slow, it's really not going to suck a lot of stuff up anyway.

Cool thanks, I was thinking filter sock like a 100 micron. I do keep my sump as clean as mine tank I dont let any detritus build up in the sump but I get lazy sometimes. Josh from wwc told me that. Thanks again for the info will do.
