Hey everyone,

I added a yellow watchman goby to my 40 gallon tank, he's about 1.5" long if not slightly smaller, and then my fiance added a blue spot goby...sometimes it seems like they're tolerating each other, other times the yellow is being hunted by the blue spot. Any chance this will come down or should I keep getting everything together for a second tank to keep my little goby safe?

Errr. They are very similar gobies. My guess… In that small of a tank, I doubt it will end well. Unless they claim seperate parts of the tank but I doubt it
Sadly they originally claimed opposite sides and now the bigger one is going for the whole sand bed. Sounds like the second tank is a must.. if I can ever catch the little one when it's time

idk about the need of two 40g for 2 shrimp gobies. Divide the hard scape up into two portions. Make a divider out of egg crate. Have two equal pump with one on each side. Put one in each side and get a pistol shrimp for each. Allow them to pair up. After a few weeks to a month. They will be alright.
