I have a larger orchid dotty in my 75. I have a much smaller one in a 10 gallon tank that I’ve been meaning to break down. Will I have a problem if I add the smaller fish to the 75 with the bigger fish?

Seems like I read years ago dottybacks can be cranky with each other, but I have 3 in my 240 and they all hang out on the same end of the tank. Not sure if being ora captive bred has anything to do with it. They were all added at the same time.
I would defiantly get a acclimation box for a new smaller one being added to a tank with a larger one.

As long as you give both their own caves/overhangs and a few sight blocks I think you might be okay. I just pulled my dottyback because she was getting unruly. Was super easy to catch. When she would go after another fish she would be blind to anything else in the tank.
