Two questions i can't find out in research.

My new rbta seems happy I'm my tank. Been there two weeks and is the size of tennis ball. My questions are how long should I wait to add the maroon clown I want and is the rbta too small still?

I'm not sure an anemone needs to be a certain size to add a clown. I would think you could add your clown. Be very cautious adding a maroon clown. If you want other fish, you'll need to add the maroon last since they can be very, very aggressive.

You should be okay to add the clown and yes the maroon clowns are aggressive.

He will be the only one besides the green clown goby that is always hiding anway. It's just a 20 gal. I have some frogspawn, and a little Zoa garden too. Just hoping the rbta behaves cause it has settled in the center of my tank away from everything after moving a few times the first week.. Cheers guys.

Any other clown suggestions. Just want a good chance of hosting. I had a maroon that hosted green bubble coral he was awesome.

I did read that about maroons. Any other clown suggestions?

Amphiprion ocellaris, can be less aggressive, or Amphiprion percula. The Tomoto, Clarkii and Maroon tend to be feisty (mean as heII) once they reach majority.

I had a green bubble tip with a maroon clown. Bought them both on the same day. At the time the clown was only the about an inch or maybe less. During the last year the anemone moved from the center of the tank up to the very top corner. It seemed happy, and would inflate to at least a baseball size. All seemed ok till about a month ago. The clown is now nearly 3" but the anemone just shriveled up and died. Not sure what happened..... I really don't want to blame the clown, but I think that I will add 2 bubble tips just to give the clown some choices.

Help.. rbta has been doing awesome but last two times I feed it, it ate the food (rogers reef food) then spit it out. It has eaten this food before. This time a tried a smaller piece but no go. Looks really healthy to me, here's a pic from this morning.
