Two Skimmers

Hello! So I'm setting up a really big system (1500 gallons) and I'm debating to either buy 1 big skimmer or 2 smaller skimmers. Two smaller skimmers actually ends up being cheaper than buying one big skimmer. Is there any disadvantage to running two skimmers? I've alway only run one so this is a new idea for me, but I have never had more than a 300 gallon system before.

Nope, other than you can have one running while you take the second offline for cleaning, maintenance, etc.
