two tank corner bar build thread

Also went with two 2" bulk heads connecting the two boxes, and I'm drooling for three 1-1/4" downpipes. Returns will be four 3/4" pipes from a custom manifold like on my 180

Hopefully I'll get some more done tomorrow I also cut the bar top down to 8.5 foot long and squared up the back so as soon as it's finish sanded and mounted I'll post pic

I got a bunch more woodworking done Sunday and I really happy with the results so far
I started with mounting the pine slab that's now 8' long and 3.5" thick
I then made one of my supports for the top using a debarked oak limb I cut and stored 2 years back..
Then I mounted my new reef breeders photon 60" led over the 180 reef section.
And to top I off I did a large water change.,
There's nothing like getting in and knocking down a few tasks to get your motivation back up.
More to follow.

Got a few things moved around and my other branch support for the bar top made and in place. I now need to finish the tile so I can start getting everything wrapped up.
Also unfortunately dealing with my crashed quarantine tank ,did a 80% wc today well see how it goes my welso is ticked and my blasts aren't doing to well. I definitely prefer large tanks as the quarantine is to unstable, in the future I'll just use my 50 gallon rubbermaid trough.

Just finished the framing the canopy above the tanks, hopefully I can get it skinned in plywood so I can fish the trim out and focus on getting g the 240 filled and cycled. I will be using the 2 acrylic sumps plumbed together that I had on my reef unil I get time to build a new 75 gallon sump. contemplating putting two more bulkheads 1" in addition to the two 2" bulkheads just for support. Over flow box is 44" wide.
