Two Tunze 6040 not synching correctly

Hello, I’m having trouble syncing a pair of Tunze 6040 DC pumps. I have the controller cable 7092.300 which is the correct cable.
When I have the pumps synchronized and the settings as follows it works properly:

Main Power = 100% or at any setting
Pulse = at 50% or at any setting
Pulse Power = “off”

When I change the Pulse Power to anything other than off, one pump alternates between 100% and the Pulse Power setting and the other stays at 100% constantly and doesn’t pulse.

Please see the attached video. I set the pulse time short so you can see it going on and off.

Any ideas why this is not working correctly? It is the same in alternating modes. It works fine with Pulse Power off. When Pulse Power is adjusted, one pump alternates between 100% and the Pulse Power setting and the other stays at 100% constantly and doesn’t pulse.

When using the two pumps independently (not synchronized), the Pulse Power works correctly.

I'm fairly certain what you are seeing is correct operation. When two pumps are connected together pulse power needs to be off. They will not pulse in a pair, only alternate or run in parallel.

I also got your email but for the sake of helping anyone else with this issue I will reply here-

The controller is calibrated incorrectly, follow this procedure on the unit in external mode-

*The problem*
If two 7090s are connected with the cable and you set the master to 2 different low levels (main power 35%, pulse power 20%), and you set it to "inverse mode", the slave will always stay at full power.

*The solution* (today tested with 3 affected units)
1 -> set the 7090 to external control.
2 -> push the food timer button for around 10 seconds until the "pulse power" knob is starting to blink. Keep pushing it.
3 -> turn it to the position shown in the picture
4 -> Release the food timer button.

Anyone who had this issue previously and can give me a hand. My 6040 slave in inverse mode stays stays at the main power setting when it should be at 10%.

I want the pumps to alternate 60%-10%. If I have the pulse power to anything but zero, the master alternates between 60% and 10% but the slave pump stays at the highest setting.

I tried the fix posted above and it isn’t doing anything. Any ideas?

Is this two tethered 6040's or is another controller being used? 20% is the minimum operable speed.
