Two white sores on clownfish

I have had these clownfish 3 years. Nothing new added but I noticed a few days ago two white sore like things on my bigger clownfish. Nothing is picking on him. Should I be worried or do anything? He’s acting completely normal and eating.

Other than a few corrals I got online no new fish. There isn’t a piece out of the fish. It looks more raised like a bump.

Any fighting with the other clown? To me it looks like it got bit or scraped due to the irregularity of the mark and the reddish tint by it (could be lighting). Extra mucus and swelling in the area can cause the raised look.

The other clown is half this one’s size. The dominant one is the one with the marks. If it’s still there in a few weeks do I do anything ? I’ll keep an eye on it. I first noticed about a week ago. It hasn’t really changed.

Here is a better picture.

Looks like an injury and not consistent with bite mark. Marine fish have the ability to heal on their own and quickly HOWEVER, it can also become infected (bacterial)
You can observe to see if it heals OR you can set up a quarantine and have Seachem Kanaplex or Neoplex on hand for treatment if needed

My clown had a white patch similar to that. As it got worse it turned reddish and she stopped eating. Treated with a medication for infection and she got better. She is very old. Probably would have cleared up on its own if she where younger. Keep an eye on it and see if it gets worse.

I’m struggling to see enough n the pictures. Even with a clear view it may not be possible to make a diagnosis. I would be inclined to just watch it since there are not any secondary symptoms.
Don’t underestimate how nasty clowns can be to one another. They are also pretty sly and can “play nice” while you are watching them.

What did you end up treating it with ? I’m just going to observe but Ill grab some meds just in case it gets worse.

Metro functions more for protozoans, kanaplex and neoplex are antibiotics.

Yes, somewhat. neoplex is a is a broad spectrum antibiotic for many external infections. Kanaplex addresses some internal as well as fungal and bacterial issues. Metroplex is a Food mix , when mixed with food will treat will internal and external infections including some parasites
