Hi does anyone know what these things are and if it's the same creature? was pretty sure the first is a bristle worm but the other looks different and longer
My nassarius snail was hauling a/ss when it got touched by the second

All bristle worms. Usually not a predator. They lack teeth or jaws to inflict damage. Only issue about them are the bristles. Usually safe but annoying in high numbers.

The more I feed the more they are they fluctuate depending on nutrition(food). They are part of the cuc just ugly in large numbers

Second one looks atypical for a common bristle worm and I’m wondering if it could be some more unusual polychaete. Something along the lines of Nephtys californiensis? Do things like that show up in aquariums?
