Type of acrylic for building Algae Scrubber

I'm thinking about building an algae scrubber. Does anyone have input on what type of acrylic should be used for building an algae scrubber? I noticed that the "Optix" brand acrylic at Lowes says it's "UV Stabilized" so my main concern with the acrylic is wavelength filtering. The LEDs being used will range from 440 nm to 660 nm.

Can't help with an acrylic type but I just hung mine over my sump. Note: the picture is old and I have added a drain so that it's not cascading down and creating bubbles

I found an answer to my question. In case anyone else is curious about light transmittance through the type of acrylic sold at Lowes and Home Depot (Optix), I've attached the transmittance plot. It's fine for my use. Probably not ideal if you want UV transmittance.
