How's the crab doing?TBS identified it as a reticulated hermit, Iridopagurus Reticulatus. In case anyone was curious
They are doing great! Here’s one on top of a rock, filtering. Have at least 4 of them that hitchhiked from TBS rock or sand. How's the crab doing?
Same. The largest is still in the original shell, several weeks later, but the others have swapped shells.I also have two of these buddies who came in on some TBS rock from June -- gave them a bunch of shells to browse, both have molted once and swapped out their original shells.
So far they're model citizens eating algae and detritus.
