Hello, I am looking at seaweed wafers for my tangs/foxface. Would seaweed targeted for freshwater fish be just the same as any and could it work fine for saltwater fish? Thanks in advance for any help.

Hikari seaweed extreme makes a wafer that's about the best of this type of food. I'm not a big fan of these types of product, what product are you are looking at, I wouldn't count on it as your only source of algae offering. Read the ingredients and you'll see why, many of them are krill or fish meal with various grain fillers, and some algae.

It's 30% Spirulina/Seaweed, 11% Sweet potato leaves, 59% shrimp meal.

If that;s all it is, then it would be ranked very high among these types of product. Spirulina is a good form of algae that's overlooked.

It's less than half seaweed/spirulina content than the Hikari formula
