I just for the first time saw these things all over the glass and swimming around. Is it a type of shrimp?

Looks like an amphipod of some sort

I agree it's a tanaid. Some species are harmless grazers and other are predatory.

Are there montipora eating ones? I have been having an issue with my montipora. I find them on it all the time. Thanks everyone!

Just pulled the things off of the montipora and they look different. Almost like a small hermit or crab. They tumble.
