If the the structure is tubular, almost shaped like a cone, and has mucous threads coming out from the end, then it’s a vermatid snail.Bump. Hello does anyone else have any ideas? Thank you
I have a bunch in my tank. I don’t like them. They don’t seem to bother coral colonies but irritate my frags. Some reefer have said they kill their corals. If they are only on the piece of coral in you picture, you can crush them with a screwdriver or some other tool. Many reefers put superglue over the end of their tubes and I’ve even seen reports of a product called coral snow helping out. I’m sure you can find some threads on these guys. Either way, I would get rid of them if you can.Thank you dwest. Can they harm my corals? If so what do you recommend to get rid of them?
