Type of worm?

Hi everyone,

Could someone please help me in identifying this worm? I've looked through the forum and I'm hoping it's a bristlenose?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yep. Definitely a bristleworm. If you didn't already know, these can hurt if it hits ya. So when doing sump work.(especially sock cleaning), wear gloves. Some types hit stronger than others, but it is generally pain and sometimes a rash for a time.

Some like these as part of the CUC and others like them outta there. If you're one of the outta there types, then there are some livestock options at your disposal.

That worm is called a Bristle Worm, when they are orange

When they are red, we call them Fire Worms. Because the toxin in the bristles is stronger in Fire Worms than Bristles Worms. And because Fire is red
